Angle Interactive has released Registry Defender 2007 3.1.4, a Windows registry maintenance utility that will scan, clean, and repair your system’s registry with just one click.

When you begin to realize that your system is performing at a much slower pace than when you first purchased it, then it may be time to clean up your Windows registry.

Registry Defender’s Defense-scan technology scans through 10 different sections of your registry to identify invalid registry entries or errors that may be the root cause of your system’s sluggish performance or system crashes.

The intuitive interface provides an easy-to-use dashboard. On the left lists the main functions of Registry Defender: Repair Now, Startup, Settings, Backup, and About. The main panel on the right displays your results.

Registry Defender 2007 version 3.1.4 has improved interface, support, and updated Defense-scan technology. It is compatible with all versions of Windows and is only 2.26 MB in size.

Registry Defender 'purports to scan and detect malware or other problems on the computer, but which attempts to dupe or badger users into purchasing the program by presenting the user with intrusive, deceptive warnings and/or false, misleading scan results.0' It's a rogue security program, which I believe should be removed.
