The primary function of Max Secure Software’s Max Registry Cleaner 3.7 is to target incorrect or obsolete information found in your Windows registry. It is a computer maintenance tool used to help keep your system running at peak performance and error-free.

Max Registry Cleaner uses a clean, simple user interface with the buttons Scan, Stop, Delete, Recover, Export, Live Update, and Defragmentation lined up at the top.

It lists problematic registry entries in the main panel at the bottom listing the section, severity, type, invalid value, and value name. It is useful in that it gives you the option of running full speed when in focus, or run more slowly in the background, which is great for those who like to multitask.

Max Secure Software’s Max Registry Cleaner version 3.7 improves the deep scanning engine, includes a registry defragmentation option, and has live updates. It is compatible with all versions of Windows, has a 1-use trial, was released on June 13, 2006, and is 1.94 MB in size. It received a CNET editor’s rating of 3 out of 5 stars with an average user rating of 3 out of 5 stars.

I am very impressed with this registry cleaner. I particulary like the registry defragmenter. After running a scan the difference in speed was noticable. I would recommend this product.

I had a lot of hassle having bought it - the serial worked once and was then blocked. Contact support and was sent a new one. Worked for a while. Eventually problem solved. On the plus side - it found 56 problems and deleted (was a bit apprehensive!) However, my PC is now running about 30per cent faster.
