2.07.575. CCleaner is a freeware
system optimization tool that will remove
unused and temporary files, freeing up
hard disk drive space and allowing your
computer to operate faster and more
efficiently.
It supports Internet Explorer and Firefox and
can remove from those browsers temporary files,
URL history, cookies, autocomplete history, and
index.dat. In your Windows operating system,
this registry cleaner can also clear your
recent documents list, recycle bin, and log
files.
Its registry cleaner function also has advanced
features to delete unused and invalid registry
entries, file extensions, Activex Controls,
ClassIDs, ProgIDs, shared DLLs, fonts,
application paths, icons, and unused shortcuts.
Of course no registry cleaner is complete
without a backup feature, which CCleaner
provides.
CCleaner’s advanced options allow you to clean
the menu order cache, tray notifications cache,
window size and location cache, user assist
history, IIS log files, and custom
folders.
CCleaner’s
dashboard has a sleek Windows Vista look to it,
with large intuitive buttons in the left-hand
navigation and a two-panel, two-tab feature in
the main section.
CCleaner version
2.07.575 fixes bugs in the previous release.
This version was released on april 29, 2008, is
2.76 MB in size, and is compatible with all
versions of Windows. It received a CNET
editor’s rating of 4 out of 5

Its a fantastic cleaner, very
fast, easy to download and install.
No problem to setup. It also
includes a Registry Cleaner with
several other options. It can be a
little bit on the agressive side.

I installed CCleaner as a
cleaner for browser caches and
index.dat files. CCleaner is
intelligent in locating SeaMonkey
and Opera browser caches, that is
not common to all cleaners.It also
has an "analyze" mode so that you
can see what you will be deleting.
It has good speed and I have
suffered no adverse effects from
using it. I have never used the
registry cleaner so I can't comment
on that tool. I would recommend
CCleaner! It outperforms some of
the shareware programs and it's
free! |

OK, 1st off, this Version came
out on 7/30/08, on Beta News. Dont
know why, Cnet, has just now got
it. But they seem to be late on a
lot of up-dates. Now, this is a
good program, like I said. But,
watch what you leave checked, very
carefully. You may not want
somthing deleated. If you do that,
you should be OK. |

Firstly I can not believe
that is free Product, CCleaner
1.28.277 is really more than
amazing and for free software.
Thank you very much CCleaner
